Action 52 Wiki

1st Video Game is the 51st game of Action 52 (Genesis). The 1st Video Game is actually just a clone of Pong.

Gameplay[]

1st Video Game (Pong) is a two-dimensional sports game that simulates table tennis. The player controls an in-game paddle by moving it vertically across the left side of the screen, and can compete against either a computer-controlled opponent or another player controlling a second paddle on the opposing side. Players use the paddles to hit a ball back and forth. The aim is for each player to reach eleven points before the opponent; points are earned when one fails to return the ball to the other.

Trivia[]

  • Game 51, which is a clone of Pong, is erroneously called "1st Video Game." The first video game, debatably, was actually "Tennis for Two"
  • It is the last video game to be an actual game, while the next and last video game on the Genesis version of Action 52 is called Challenge and it is just all the games but on their highest levels.
