Jupiter Scope is a vertical space shooter and the eighth game in the NES version of Action 52.
Gameplay[]
You play as the "Star Zap" Lazer, a large grey spaceship of some kind, shooting oncoming flaming meteors that keep falling from the top screen as a result of a meteor shower. When shot, the meteors add 100 points each to a score despite their being no-leaderboard of any kind. The game seemingly loops endlessly unless you die by touching one of the meteors.
Manual Information[]
JUPITOR SCOPE
At first we saw one or two fall and thought nothing of it, never thinking it could result in a Meteor shower. Using the "Star-Zap" Lazer we shoot them out of the sky, before they collide with things, but the meteor shower gets more intense.
Trivia[]
- It is one of the many space shooters on the NES version of Action 52 (NES)
- On the NES, it incorrectly calls it "Jupitr Scope" instead of Jupiter Scope.
- Within the Action 52 OWNZ project, Jupiter Scope was also remade into a Missile Command-style game: the meteors can actually destroy the buildings, and there are UFOs as secondary targets. The player's task is to protect the city as long as possible.
